Jim Dunn is one of our senior Consultants with more than 40 years of experience in the
transportation industry. Before coming to Interstate Worldwide Relocation, Jim maintained a
distinguished 38 year career with the US Army in both the Medical Corps and Transportation
Corps.
As Chief, Performance Management Division, HQDA, Jim developed worldwide policies,
procedures and directives for Army-sponsored passenger travel, for personal property
movement programs and movement of general cargo in excess of $1 billion. Jim
exercised Army General Staff supervision over strategic availability requirements and
capabilities, wartime transportation planning, transportation force structure containerization program and supervision over mission functions and organization of the military traffic
management command and developed transportation management information systems. He secured and coordinated sealift, airlift and rail allocation and controlled containerized services including RORO, Sealand and Conex.
Following his career in the military, Jim joined Fogerty Van Lines in Tampa, Florida, which was the beginning of his more than 20 years of service in the commercial transportation industry.
In 1988 , Jim brought his vast knowledge to Interstate Worldwide Relocation and has been a highly successful and positive addition to our sales team. His extensive background enables
him to provide great insight and positive experiences to each and every move in which he
