Interstate's Military Affairs Division is charged with the task of developing our military agency network and working to ensure continued annual increases in military traffic, while increasing both agency network quality and representation. Their charge becomes increasingly difficult during the off-season, as such they develop many strategies designed to maintain bookings during winter months, as well as summer. The department consists of the Performance Management Group and the Agency Development Team.
The Military Affairs group also provides agents with a popular and helpful monthly claims performance report. Their goal is to make Interstate the leader in customer satisfaction, by working on the philosophy that "If you can measure it, you can monitor it; and if you can monitor it, you can manage and improve it."
The Performance Management Group is tasked with handling military bookings under the TQAP program. This group is divided into two U.S. regions, with the Mississippi River serving as the dividing line. Regional administrators are responsible for all agent activities within their areas, working closely with regional TMOs.
The Agency Development Team handles all agency administration and Interstate's agent recruiting program. Additional programs include an Agent Performance Profile to determine the overall quality of agent services and maintaining the company's agency driver roster.
