PROFESSIONAL PACKING
Our competitive rates for origin and destination service include container drayage to and from the port or airport. Interstate's 80-hour initial training program produces crews expert in maximum density packing, using our unique "UltraPak" that is stronger and more durable than paper pads, for reduced ocean and airfreight costs. Our flexible programs provide cost-effective solutions for your special needs.
Interstate offers a wide range of containers to provide the best protection for your belongings at the best price.
Small shipments are loaded into wooden liftvans or crates specially designed for household goods shipments. Liftvans may then be consolidated into steel containers with other shipments for protection. Larger shipments, and consolidations of small shipments, are loaded into steel steamship containers that range from 20 to 40 feet. And, Interstate's team can also prepare a variety of customized containers to transport unique items.
Should you choose to store all or part of your belongings at any stage during a move, our service providers around the world also provide storage. Interstate has the ability to monitor your storage requirements for the duration of an international assignment or until you're fully settled and ready to take delivery.
If you choose to use Interstate's services in the Washington, D.C. area, we maintain three terminals in the Washington metropolitan area with over 200,000 square feet of warehouse space.
On an international basis, our service providers around the world must meet Interstate's quality standards, so our customers are guaranteed the same level of service both in the United States and abroad.
Although Interstate's skilled packers and movers take extreme precautions to prevent loss or damage, even the best service may sometimes result in minor claims. Interstate's trained adjusters resolve such matters quickly and equitably to maintain customer goodwill and satisfaction.
Should an unexpected claim occur, Interstate's coverage provides repair or replacement of your goods at today's market value in the destination country, regardless of the age of the damaged items or where in the world you live.
