(Springfield, VA) Interstate Worldwide Relocation, now celebrating 60 years of Top Hat Service, announced its 2002 Employees of the Year. Six individuals received these awards based upon their outstanding performance and superior work throughout 2002.
Carla Coldwell, who works in Interstate's Accounting department, received the Administrative Employee of the Year award. Coldwell was recognized with this award for her extensive research and follow-up on government storage accounts. She has been with Interstate since 1989. Sales Consultant of the Year honors went to first-year employee Joseph Dugo who achieved more than $600,000 in sales in 2002. Dugo's energetic personality and his ability to help people pull their moves together reflect the Top Hat Service that Interstate offers its customers.
Noel Zita Swank received the Warehouseman of the Year Award, based on the results of customer evaluations and monthly ratings. Swank works in the Landover, Maryland facility and manages the warehouse, trains employees and helps with dispatches; he has been with Interstate since 1999.
Driver of the Year Awards were presented to three long-distance drivers: Keith "Mike" Guy, driver with Interstate since 1999; Charlie Wheeler, since 1986; and Daniel Watson, since 2001. "Each of these drivers delivered our high-level quality service to customers around the country throughout 2002," commented John Shelor, Long Distance Operations Manager.
