June Employees Of The Month

(Springfield, VA) Each month Interstate Worldwide Relocation presents awards to its Employees of the Month, recognizing them for a job well done. For the month of June, the following individuals were honored.

At Interstate's Springfield headquarters, four employees were awarded: Driver of the Month, Jim Dupee, an employee since 1988; Helper of the Month, Robert Quansah, employed since 1998; Packer of the Month, Kerah Garvin, a four-year employee; and Administrative Employee of the Month, Sue Heller, Billing Auditor, an employee since February 2000.

At Interstate's Dulles branch, three employees received awards: Driver of the Month, Tanimu Umaru, a two-year employee; Helper of the Month, Armando Gomez, a four-year employee; and Packer of the Month, Lesbia Gonzalez, and employee since 1999.

At Interstate's Landover facility, four employees received awards: Driver of the Month, Ogu Chukwuma, an employee for only one month; Helper of the Month, Gary Bragg, an eight-year employee; Packer of the Month, Charleen Bragg, an employee since 1998; and Warehouseman of the Month, Sean McCoy, a two-year employee.

Scott Kern, an owner operator driver was awarded Driver of the Month for June. Kern, who is an agent out of Rockledge, Florida, has been a driver since 2000. Honored staff receive $35 gift certificate to the Interstate company store, filled with sportswear items, hats, toy trucks, etc. "Each employee's hard work and dedication to the company does not go unnoticed. Interstate relies on all team members - administrative staff, movers, helpers, drivers, and warehousemen, to make this company work successfully. It is only through everyone's efforts that we can continue to deliver our Top Hat Service to our customers," said Interstate President Buddy Morrissette.

Established in 1943 and headquartered in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, the Interstate family of companies today comprises a worldwide group of relocation management, transportation and logistic entities.
