Interstate Names Newhard Vice President
Will Lead Corporate Development Initiatives

(Springfield, VA) Interstate Worldwide Relocation is pleased to announce that Frank Newhard joined the company as Vice President of Corporate Account Services, and will lead corporate development strategy for the organization's relocation services, logistics/special products and international divisions.

In his new role, Newhard will use his 20+ years of experience in solutions selling and management to extend existing and develop new commercial account relationships in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Newhard and his sales team will market the full range of Interstate's services including: relocation services (policy development, benefits counseling, pre-decision counseling and recruiting assistance, home marketing and home purchase assistance, mortgage financing, temporary and rental housing, moving and storage, move management, and expense management), logistics and special products services (transportation and storage for electronics, arts and collectibles, and furniture, fixtures and equipment, as well as asset management services), international services (freight forwarding, destination services, export compliance, customs, documentation and process management), as well as Interstate's more widely known local and long distance moving and storage.

Newhard joins Interstate from Hewlett Packard (formerly both Compaq and Digital Equipment), where he retired after a 32-year career. For his last five years at Hewlett Packard, he served as Vice President and General Manager for the Eastern Region for HP Services, with responsibility for attaining $800 million of revenue and managing a 2,000-person global services organization, encompassing customer support, systems integration and managed services business.
